Design
From design through construction, Patrick James Builders is here to help make your home remodeling or room addition project a complete success. We will meet with you in your home and discuss your ideas. Then, after going through your “wish list”, we will put together a preliminary plan and cost estimate for your remodeling or addition.
At the second meeting you will be able to view the preliminary plans and see your ideas unfold in front of you on our computer screen. After seeing the project in 3D on our cad program most people can better understand how the finished product will look and how it will blend with and enhance the look of their home.
After deciding on the design and projected costs, we will provide the plans necessary to secure building permits. We won’t expect a commitment from you for the final project until you have seen the finished plans and a finish schedule showing you what is and just as importantly, what isn’t included in the contract. Everything from door styles and sizes, window and cabinet brands, floor types and even what light fixtures are included will be known to you before you sign a remodeling contract. Our goal is try to eliminate any unpleasant surprises along the way.
Our contract also spells out anticipated start and finish times. We will secure all permits required by the city or county and handle all inspections.
